The recipient of a bachelor of science in finance from DePaul University, George J. Kopsias spent the first 12 years of his career working as an option arbitrage clerk with various trading groups in Chicago. From 2004 to 2009, after he completed a master of science in information systems at DePaul, George J. Kopsias served as a mortgage loan consultant with Lakeside Bank, where he originated more than $50 million in closed loans and educated borrowers on topics such as interest rate fluctuation, tax-deductible debt consolidation, and 10-year bond market volatility.

Since leaving Lakeside, George Kopsias provided application support to PepsiCo through Kelly Services and, as a senior accountant with Brilliant Financial, assisted prominent clients such as the University of Chicago, Encyclopedia Britannica, and Starwood Retail Partners, with various financial functions. He presently serves as a senior accountant with Snowhite Hospitality, LLC.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Kopsias maintains an active lifestyle by running, swimming, playing golf, and lifting weights. He also enjoys coaching his sons' youth baseball, soccer, and basketball teams.
